Wankan Tanka Film Festival

Wankan Tanka, the great spirit, plays an important role in the Short and Feature Film Festival. 

The festival aims to create a forest on the Treedom platform, which allows people to plant trees remotely and follow the story of the project online. 

Since its founding in 2010 in Florence, Treedom has planted more than 3,000,000 trees in Africa, Latin America, Asia and Italy. All trees are planted directly by local farmers, with environmental, social and economic benefits. Treedom's business model has resulted in the company joining the Certified B Corporations, a network of companies known for their high environmental and social performance, since 2014.
